Unfucking my Bedroom, Continued
I’m posting this because I am so relieved. My bedside table is cleared of junk! It’s literally been 10 months since that’s happened. The playpen is cleared out, so now my 10 month old can hang out in there (instead of in the living room playpen) when I’m getting ready for work. I made the bed again this morning. I still have to vacuum, but Its time for breakfast. Fuck yeah, UFYH!Edited to add that vacuuming is done!
(And is it weird that I feel kinda honored to have been reblogged by UFYH?! It made my morning!)
Unfucking my Bedroom
Keeping the mess at bay is a struggle. My husband likes to leave clothes wherever he undresses. I let things pile up on surfaces and in the playpen. Now the sheets are washed, the bed is made, and the second photo is after 10 minutes.Another 20 min of Unfucking coming after the kiddos are asleep.
I read Green Eggs and Ham to my son pretty often. A little factoid: There are only 50 words used in the entire story — 51 if you count “Sam” and “Sam-I-am” separately, but let’s not get technical.
I wondered how many times each word was used, so I decided to find out. (“Not” is the winner, coming in at 83 instances.)
Edited to add…
P.S. Senator Ted Cruz: Keep Dr. Seuss away from your agenda! You didn’t understand the book.
